Neide Carreira (Leiria, 1992) is a Lisbon-based artist working in painting and drawing. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, where she obtained her bachelor's degree, and later pursued studies in academic and traditional oil painting methods at the Angel Academy in Florence, Italy. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Painting in the Universiity of Lisbon. Since 2017, her work has been regularly awarded and exhibited in Portugal and abroad.

Operating at the intersection of traditional painting methods and contemporaneity, her work stems from the resonance of places and a reverence towards the visible, drawing on silence and solitude as tools for contemplation.
